DescriptionManager or Associate Manager, Channel Marketing and Development, Alternate Site( Surgery Centers and Physician Offices) is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and tactics that alternate site stakeholders find uniquely valuable, driving share growth, procedural adoption, revenue, and profitability for the company.



MARKETPLACE OVERVIEW

The alternate site is a hugely fragmented market place that offers large opportunities for revenue growth. This Company is focused on marketing/selling the organizations entire portfolio of technologies, educational offerings, and support to two of alternate sites segments - physicians offices and its primary focus - Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). The ASC model is based on offering minimally invasive procedures (MIS), performed efficiently and effectively and high patient satisfaction. Surgeons who practice at/own ASCs tend to be entrepreneurial most likely to be early adopters of new MIS procedures. Technology innovations, changes in reimbursement, patient demand, and surgeons financial and control interests are increasing ASC attractiveness to surgeons and manufacturers. Distributors tend to play a key role providing a high level of service and one stop shopping. The role of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) is increasing especially in larger ASC chains.



POSITIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

Expand understanding of the alternate site market, its opportunities, stakeholders, competitors, trends and needs.

Develop US Strategic Plans, supporting forecasts and budgets to guide investment

Design business strategies and tactics to fully realize market and business opportunities that generate tangible results with incremental revenue, profit and share growth

Prioritize customer targets through rigorous sales analytics and implement positioning, targeting, core messaging and competitive strategies

Segment KOLs and implement high-impact working groups to achieve market development objectives

Identify and pursue opportunities to raise procedural awareness among surgeons; develop relevant messaging materials including evidenced-based collateral; enhance visibility at events; engage in industry-specific activities to grow product/procedural awareness.

Design strategies around new procedures that assist alt site stakeholders exceed business and patient care goals while growing new product sales and share.

Design effective education, promotion, public relations, meetings and conferences strategies to elevate new product / procedure exposure.

Develop economic and practice management tools combined with effective patient promotion and education programs to drive business to alternate sites.

Develop business strategies and tactics, educational offerings, and collateral for selected distributor partners that gain their mindshare while accelerating company share growth

Create a business plan that drives selected GPOs to desire contract positions with This Company

Continuously follow progress by analyzing customer satisfaction through surveys and conducting needs assessment to continuously improve business models.



Requirements:

BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred with a minimum of

3 years of successful track record in marketing of medical devices including successful market development experience within the Alternate Site/surgery centers, physician offices and ASC chains/GPO networks.
