DescriptionThe Corporate Sales Analyst will support the Sales Organizations by working within the Pricing Department to meet any/all data management and sales analysis requirements.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following aspects of operational support. Other duties, including pricing administration functions, may be assigned:
Help develop, maintain, and process sales and margin analysis and reporting output in various formats, utilizing a combination of Microsoft Excel and Access programs.
Process channel partner/customer data templates which involve pricing updates, general product, and catalog item additions. Requires various information gathering from database and item master programs, plant contacts, marketing literature, etc. Involves coordinating information from several internal sources and providing to customer in their required format.
Support pricing administration functions which includes updating customer or product information to keep corporate data base current and available for on-demand analysis or data requests.
Responsible for collecting and maintaining file for updated and approved versions of supplier agreements for all National Accounts, and insure that rebates, credits, etc, are being processed in accordance with those agreements.
Overall, proactively work to inform Management of financial impact of all channel partners and customers, and with Managements guidance, make necessary updates and changes from an operational standpoint, and to provide these updates to distribution to maximize profits and maintain smooth business flow.
Bachelors degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or minimum 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
