Telvent is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager responsible for developing and implementing all marketing initiatives for the Telvent Transportation space. This individual will be instrumental in the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of traditional, Web, and electronic marketing programs geared toward gaining new clients and upselling the existing client base. The Marketing Manager will report to the head of Transportation Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and track lead generation programs including direct mail, e-mail, print and online advertising, Web marketing, webinars, events & seminars, newsletters, social media, public relations, and tradeshows.
- Work closely with marketing communications, sales, and product management on the content and creative to be used in all marketing activities. Provide the response mechanisms to gain the best results possible and enable the company to track and manage leads effectively.
- Manage Affinity Marketing relationships and associated programs.
- Work with mailhouse, fulfillment, and other associated vendors to ensure programs are executed on time, on budget, and adhere to quality standards.
- Build relationships with sales to provide strategic and tactical marketing support required to achieve their revenue objectives.
Requirements:
· BA/BS degree in marketing or related field
· 8+ years experience in managing marketing efforts
· Database marketing experience required
· Strong PC-based computer capabilities required
· High-energy person with a positive attitude that is resourceful, creative, and driven to achieve results
· Proactively and consistently presents new ideas, strategies, and initiatives
· Proven budget management skills
· Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work cross functionally with other departments and has exceptional teamwork skills
· Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality results
