Vice President of Marketing
The VP of Marketing manages the daily functions and strategic plans of the Marketing department, including, but not limited to staffing, personnel development, and leadership to direct and manage the company’s product management and marketing staffs to ensure that product line strategies are well developed and executed, sales growth and profitability targets are met, new product development and product improvement programs are successfully executed and product line goals are achieved.

  • Manage the Product Management, Application Engineering and Marketing Staffs
  • Develop effective marketing strategy and action plans to raise Company’s image and grow sales
  • Develop department goals and action plans to achieve them
  • Develop and implement product line strategies to drive sales and profit growth
  • Collaborate with other departments to prioritize engineering and product development projects
  • Create effective marketing materials including web-site, collateral, videos, etc.
  • Manage department and project budgets
  • Implement effective marketing tools to generate leads and drive customer interest/action
  • Monitor market trends, new technologies and competitor activities and develop action plans to maintain market leadership
  • Work closely with purchasing, quality, and operations to drive product improvements and cost reductions
  • Accurate and fast response to quote requests, both configured and custom products
  • Ensure the configurator is an accurate and useful tool for sales and operations to reduce the number of custom products
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business and 10+ years of experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with a $75+ million manufacturing company
  • Experience managing product management and marketing functions
  • Experience working with and simplifying complex/engineered product lines
  • Strategic thinker and team player with strong technical and marketing skills who can motivate all team members
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and PC skills
  • Ability to work with other departments in a fast paced, collaborative environment
