Our client provides digital marketing solutions for its customers by leveraging an enormous amount of proprietary consumer behavior data.  They are not a pure agency and nor a pure product company...they are a true solutions provider.  They are seeking a a proven User Experience Designer with a similar background in technology / marketing services environments. The User Experience Specialist is responsible for instilling a user centered design methodology in our client website development efforts and should be an expert in user experience strategy, user centered design, usability testing and information architecture. The individual in this role will be a thought leader that interacts with clients, account executives, designers and developers. User Experience Designer will be responsible for conducting analysis/research and translating findings into wireframes, storyboards and design outlines that can be communicated to the web development team.

  • Gather and document detailed functional and content requirements, including key objectives of the website
  • Develop IA/UX deliverables: Site Maps, Wireframes (annotated), Task Flows, and Functional Requirements/Specifications
  • Passionately sell (and defend) UX design decisions to clients via strategic and relevant deliverables and impactful presentations while being open to feedback and collaboration
  • Perform assessments and audits of existing websites to identify usability and/or user experience optimizations with a focus on conversion and SEO
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Creative and Technical team members across offices in the development of digital solutions (websites, mobile, apps)
  • Conduct usability tests via both paper and functioning prototypes.
  • Conduct website testing to ensure all functional requirements are met, links and forms work as required, and overall project objectives have been met
  • Ensures standard best practices for user experience, usability, and conversion are met
  • Perform multi-browser and mobile responsiveness testing
  • Occasional travel as needed for client presentations, meetings and user testing
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
  • Ability to build relationships and work in collaborative manner
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be proficient with proper English punctuation, spelling and grammar

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Information Architect / User Experience Designer role
  • Understanding and passion for digital marketing solutions (i.e. websites, mobile, apps)
  • Highly collaborative, strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers and partners
  • Demonstrated customer focus mentality
  • Assertive, goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Willingness to help define and develop new processes to drive project delivery effectiveness and efficiency
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills, with the ability to accurately handle multiple simultaneous activities on tight deadlines
  • An analytical and results focused mindset with superior problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
  • Experience with WordPress preferred
  • Ability to manage both internal and third-party resources across multiple offices and geographies
  • Understanding of HTML, SEO, and Google Analytics preferred
  • Experience in web development projects in an agency environment
