Outside Sales Representative

Chloeta is recruiting to fill one (1) Outside Sales Representative (OSR) position at our Corporate Office located at Tinker Business & Industrial Park (TBIP).  An OSR plays a fundamental role in supporting our aggressive growth strategies.  This is primarily a field based position with nationwide travel to be expected 75% or more of the time.  For the right candidate this is an unparalleled opportunity to travel the nation meeting new people and furthering the worthy pursuits of the company while simultaneously boosting the bottom line.  The OSR coordinates closely with Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) and works directly for the Business Development Director.  The primary responsibility of an OSR is to make in-person sales calls with hot and warm leads and secondarily to promote the services and brand of the company at industry trade shows, conferences and other networking opportunities.  For the personable, articulate, confident and competitive individual, this position is the perfect fit.  The candidate must be comfortable with in-person and phone communication, occasionally with dozens of clients per day in order to close governmental sales.  This is a base salaried position with a generous commission compensation plan.  Smart phone, laptop and company car ARE PROVIDED for this position.  Chloeta exhibits Native American preference in hiring and is a drug free workplace.

  • Successfully complete a one (1) week training program at the Corporate Headquarters in Oklahoma City. By the end of the training period, reps should be able to differentiate the business impacts associated with each product, approach prospects and clearly articulate Paycom’s value proposition, as well as conduct a compelling technical demo and needs analysis with prospects. They should feel confident in their sales pitches around each service category. 
  • Prospect every week resulting in new sales calls and visits. Prospecting consists of calling warm and cold leads, sending personalized notes, as well as obtaining referrals. Leads are generated from Chloeta’s internal database, marketing campaigns, scouting new businesses within the assigned territory while on appointments, and additional tools.  In general, new leads are readily available and the candidate will not necessarily be responsible for developing their own leads.  Rather, they will need to be aggressive, organized and thorough at following-up on existing hot and warm leads that have already been generated through other marketing channels. 
  • Prepare for each sales call. Reps conduct extensive research on every account prior to the first visit. They use various internet tools to fully understand the organization, identify key influencers and decision-makers, and find out as much about each prospect’s current buying habits and ongoing needs as possible.
  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of the current federal procurement methodologies with a complete understanding of the tools, processes, bottlenecks and challenges within their current system. Tools and training are provided, but the best reps ask insightful questions, learn from each interaction, and project confidence and insight while leading these discussions. They listen for key pain points that can be addressed by Chloeta’s solutions. A completed analysis (sometimes requiring more than one meeting for larger accounts) becomes the basis for the compelling business case and financial model included in the quote.
  • Ask for the sale. They ask for the sale, overcome objections and involve others (from Operations and Business Development) when necessary to close the deal.
  • Manage the transition process with a Proposal Manager. Reps facilitate the transition once the client has confirmed their desire to buy.  The Proposal Manager works with Operations and Finance to complete the proposal, with input from the Rep, in order to close the deal.  The rep will participate in the kickoff meeting for the contract, at which time a Project Manager from Operations will assume command of the client relationship.  
  • Update Chloeta’s internal sales tracking system daily. Ensure information is accurate, timely and actionable. Use this data to monitor pipeline progression effectively and identify opportunity to move individual deals forward.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher from an accredited university
  • With company provided vehicle and travel expenses paid, must be comfortable being in travel status up to thirty-nine (39) or more weeks per year. 
  • Candidate should have consistent experience working toward a personal or professional goal along with a competitive spirit

Target Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree
  • Two (2) years or more of sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • A history of meeting or exceeding sales expectations
Position Duties:

Compensation and Work Schedule:
  • Base Salary: $44,791
  • Generous commission structure on a tiered plan
