Nationwide temporary staffing company is looking for a Business Manager in the Ft. Lauderdale area.    You will be responsible for providing leadership operations and to execute the established sales strategy.  This position is responsible for the reaching budgeted new customer sales and growth of current customer sales volume.  The Business Manager is also responsible for operational standards, project management support, risk management, and supervising office operations.

  • Responsible for office profitability, worker inventory pool availability and office safety results.
  • Assist with territory sales growth by aggressive personal selling to prospects and the existing customer base.
  • Perform worksite safety inspections and ensure ongoing field worker safety training.
  • Plan and contribute to project management for customers.
  • Build long term relationships when possible to continue the relationship and grow the customer base.
  • Interview, hire, train, develop and mentor office personnel.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Oversee the supervision of field workers by office personnel. 
  • Monitor controllable expenses including advertising, premiums, entertainment, reimbursable expenses and supplies.
  • Participate in meetings with potential customers as subject matter expert for workforce management 
  • Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts.
  • Bilingual- English/Spanish highly preferred
  • Four-year college degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Construction industry knowledge and/or experience required.
  • 3+ years of project management experience and knowledge.
  • 3+ years of successful outside sales experience to industrial clients.
  • 3+ years of people and operations management experience.
  • Valid Driver's License is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software programs and intranet usage.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and adhere to on-site work schedules.
  • Base salary of $60,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)
  • Potential annual commission of $20k - $40k.
