In order to achieve its growth objectives, the company has an immediate need for experienced, and customer centric business development talent.
The Business Developer will identify and secure new commercial landscape maintenance business throughout a geographic territory. Specifically, the position is responsible for the marketing and selling of horticultural services related to commercial landscape maintenance and other services offered by the Company, and is expected to effectively generate new business via client referrals, networking and independent sales activity. The successful candidate will have the support of company leadership to operate independently so long as ethical standards are followed, profitable business is consistently generated, and customer feedback meets or exceeds expectations.
Key Behaviors and Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills, pro-active, engaging, and decisive
Years of proven experience in driving new sales preferably in commercial landscape maintenance, horticulture, property management, or related field
Deep desire to identify leads and engage with prospective clients toward new sales outcomes
Comfort and enjoyment of meeting new people, making presentations to small and large groups of community leaders, researching new business leads, and closing profitable business
Computer literate and functional in MS Office applications
Minimum high school education.
