The Account Executive position develops new business opportunities and maintains, as well as grows, current accounts.  They interact with a broad scope of prospective and current customers, primarily via phone, email, and other electronic media, in order to increase sales of products and/or services.  This role requires a large amount of telephone cold-calling and occasional travel to customer/potential customer sites.  This individual will develop and execute sales strategies designed to demonstrate the solutions and benefits to achieve increased sales and profitability.

Our ideal candidates will have a demonstrated ability to handle multiple objectives concurrently, be highly motivated and results-driven.
  • Identify prospects via internet search, cold calling & prospecting;
  • Develop leads, engage prospects, & assess current or emerging needs;
  • Build customer solution suites;
  • Negotiate contracts;
  • Work with sales leadership to develop and execute prospect sales plans as well as customer management plans; &
  • Update and manage customer base via CRM tools
  • EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree or higher with a concentration in finance, marketing, sales management preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE:  3+ years of experience selling in the business to business field.
  • Experience and success in selling high value enterprise solutions and services
  • Proven sales quota attainment record ($500k-$1MM+ annual quota achievement and above)
  • Proven new business development skills
  • Outstanding presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • High comfort level and presence with senior IT, Operations and Finance executives
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Known for creativity in sorting out the most appropriate market opportunities and addressing them
  • Great sense for deciding which opportunities get the highest priority
  • Customer centric thinking in all of one’s activities – understands solution selling
  • An involved team player who can be direct when presenting ideas, goes out of the way to deliver results
  • MS Office proficient (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Previous experience in technology sales is a plus
The Account Executive position is paid via base salary + commission.  Base salary is dependent upon skills and industry experience however a successful candidate will earn six figures after first 18 months.  A comprehensive benefits package is also available including 401k plan, health insurance, FSA and many more.
